An analysis of the foundations of philosophical thought. The emphasis will be on the main branches of philosophy: metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics in light of Christian thought.

A study of the doctrine of salvation with special attention given to the work of Christ, the nature and extent of the atonement, the terms of salvation, election and human responsibility, and the eternal security of the believer.

MS-890: Field Practicum 1 (M1-2)
Field Practicum 1 is required of all students in MM and MDiv degree programs and serves as a structured and significantly enhanced learning experience that takes place in a church or approved Christian ministry venue under the supervision of a qualified professional practitioner. The Practicum comprises an integral part of a complete graduate competency-based curriculum and offers opportunities to apply course content within a ministry context that enhances further development of ministry skills, knowledge, and experience. The Practicum is taken during the final year of academic degree program studies. (Semester Long Course)

NT-772/BI-420: Elementary Greek 1
This course will be an immersion into koine Greek in a fun and transformative atmosphere. We will sing in Greek, talk in Greek, and learn the grammar of the language along the way!

OT-771: Elementary Hebrew 1 (M1-2)
A study of the basic principles of biblical Hebrew for students who have not had Hebrew or who would benefit from a review of the elements of the language.

TH-250: Survey of Bible Doctrine (M1-2)
A broad survey of the basic doctrines found in the Scriptures, presented in a systematic and theological manner. Twelve major areas will be reviewed that include an introduction to theological terms and definitions.

MS-430: Ministry Internship (M1-2)
A supervised, directed ministry experience for students in a specific area of interest and skill. This includes practical training in the local church, mission field, or school, working in the areas of counseling, teaching, church leadership, para-church organizations, and evangelism. This course is taken during the senior year (generally final semester) of studies.

EN-103: English Composition 1 (M1-2)
An introduction to the writing process through narrative, expository, and persuasive forms of writing. Consideration will be given to the fundamentals of English grammar, rhetoric, and composition and their application in effective written communication. This course focuses on the process of writing, from the prewriting to the first drafts to publication-ready final drafts. Emphasis is placed on writing skills needed for academic success, along with a focus on the process of discovering and developing ideas while identifying one's audience and communicating in a well organized and clearly developed manner.

TH-667: Ecclesiology and Eschatology
This course is an analysis of the biblical teaching concerning last things, a discussion of the coming of Christ, and other end times events from a pre-millennial perspective. The students will be given a comprehensive outline of the future events of God’s prophetic program. Contrasts will be drawn with Covenant Theology and progressive dispensationalism. The major millennial views will be presented along with various views relating to the Rapture. Attention will be given to the unconditional covenants of the Old Testament. Finally, a definition of the Church as the Body of Christ and its role and function in God’s eternal plan will be examined.

CO-863: Advanced Counseling Theory and Integration (M2)
An advanced exploration of the theories and integration of counseling for use in pastoral counseling. Biblical principles and practices for guiding, sustaining, healing, and reconciling individuals, primarily within the context of the local church, chaplaincy, or parachurch ministry.

MS-875: Advanced Leadership & Administration (M2)
Church leadership is a unique blend of managing employees, volunteers, board development, and casting vision. Many pastors are under equipped to lead organizations and overall ministry effectiveness decreases from a lack of organizational leadership.

OT-875: Introduction to Hebrew Exegesis (ThM Course) (M2)
An introduction to the exegesis of Hebrew narrative and poetry, including a review of Hebrew morphology, syntax, and lexical analysis in conjunction with the translation of selected Old Testament passages.
