  • TH-767 P: Historia da Igreja e Historia da Teologia 1

    Um estudo panorâmico do desenvolvimento histórico do cristianismo da Palestina para o ocidente durante os períodos da Igreja antiga e medieval, enfatizando os principais acontecimentos históricos e afirmações ou desvios teológicos destes períodos, bem como conectando-os à vida e obra dos personagens da Igreja que mais se destacaram na antiguidade e no medievo. Este estudo fornecerá aos alunos as ferramentas para avaliar criticamente as doutrinas modernas da teologia católica romana, ortodoxa e várias teologias protestantes no contexto de seus desenvolvimentos na história da igreja.

  • RS-503 P: Metodologia da Pesquisa, Escrita e Tecnologia / RS-210 P: Metodologia da Pesquisa, Escrita e Tecnologia

    Um curso projetado para ensinar o estudante sério da metodologia de pesquisa adequada da Palavra, revisão de habilidades de escrita de nível universitário, e o uso efetivo da tecnologia para a criação de trabalhos e projetos de pesquisa de qualidade, seguindo um Manual para Escritores de Artigos de Pesquisa, Teses e Dissertações de Kate L. Turabian (9ª ed.). Métodos para usar a tecnologia para descobrir informações apropriadas à pesquisa de nível universitário por meio do uso de bancos de dados eletrônicos, recursos da Internet, coleções de bibliotecas, e a alfabetização informacional são abordadas.

  • MS-430 P: Estágio Ministerial

    Uma experiência ministerial supervisionada e orientada para todos os alunos de Graduação em sua área específica de interesse e habilidade, incluindo treinamento prático na igreja local, no campo missionário ou em uma escola, onde poderão desenvolver práticas de aconselhamento, ensino, liderança e/ou evangelismo. Este curso é realizado durante o último ano de estudos.

    Um estudo a respeito dos princípios de evangelismo e discipulado de Jesus com vistas ao impacto no mundo através da Graça de Deus no cumprimento de fazer discípulos.

  • PY-101 P: Psicologia e Aconselhamento

    Um estudo introdutório a respeito da natureza do ser humano, em relação aos problemas psicológicos, e das estratégias de aconselhamento fundamentadas em uma cosmovisão bíblica.

  • MS-404 P: Liderança Bíblica

    Uma introdução ao estudo da liderança cristã, enfatizando seus fundamentos bíblicos com vistas à análise do potencial para a liderança espiritual e ministerial do aluno.

  • OT-877: Advanced Hebrew Exegesis

    An application of the exegetical methods to selected passages from historical, prophetical and wisdom books of the Old Testament. The exegetical consideration includes a survey of the literary, historical, and theological backgrounds unique to the texts under study.

  • DM-902: Effective Biblical Leadership

    This course seeks to develop a philosophy of leadership that is biblically accurate and culturally relevant. Through the course, the student will gain exposure to some of the best thinking and most current research on the subject of leadership (personal and team). The effective practices of a successful leader will be explored such as planning with vision and team leadership. Students will investigate the biblical model of servant leadership and how it is the foundation that enables others to lead and encourages other to serve with passion. Students will also be refreshed in their skills using Grace’s Canvas LMS, digital library catalog, Logos Bible Software, Turabian writing format, and online research methods.

  • TH-560: Hermeneutics / TH-310: Principles of Biblical Interpretation (M3 Cohort)

    A directed study on the principles of the literal-grammatical-historical (L-G-H) system of biblical interpretation, with guided practice in using those principles in interpreting representative passages. This course is required before enrollment in any Systematic Theology (TH-) and Bible Exposition (BI-) courses.

  • BI-340: The Life of Christ (Independent Study)

    The life of Christ, his teaching and work, will be studied in light of the unique perspective of each of the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

  • DM-989: IRC - Developing a Structured Partnership Model (Rae)

    This is an independent study course which allows the students to investigate and report on a theological ministry topic interest. PROFESSOR’S ADDITIONAL COMMENT This is an independent study focused on bridging the gap between seminaries and local churches. This study aligns with the DMin’s emphasis on practical ministry leadership, equipping spiritual leaders, and advancing the Great Commission. By examining and proposing a structured partnership model, this study will contribute to GSOT’s vision while also creating a revenue model to generate income for the school. Additionally, it will address real-world challenges facing church staffs in ministry. The independent study will involve research, real-time feedback, analysis, marketing, and the partnership framework. The nature of this independent course requires regular interaction with the professor to ensure all assignments are completed in a timely fashion.
