  • MS-892: Servant Leadership / MS-452: Spiritual Leadership (M3)

    In this course, the student will be studying numerous Scriptures dealing with Christ as the Servant Leader; wrestling with passages speaking to what it means to be a Servant Leader as Christ was; and leaning the tools from the Scriptures that help one become a Servant Leader. The student will also learn and begin to apply a new set of definitions related to being a Servant Leader and, in specific, the development of their own Transcendent There - the ultimate goal of every Christian. Through the videos, reading, and engagement with the material presented, the student will be better equipped to be a Christlike Servant Leader and to establish their own Transcendent There.

  • MS-765: Discipleship Strategies (M4)

    This course will on focus how a theology of discipleship and a church’s Matrix complement each other for effective disciple-making in the church today. The student will develop a philosophy and strategy that will engage unbelievers and believers on an intentional journey of salvation, spiritual growth, genuine life change, and missional living. The student will create a church pathway that engages a church’s congregation in the disciple-making process. The student will complete the course with clear principles of discipleship, an understanding of the different models of disciple-making, and the experience of applying the appropriate model in a local church setting.

  • MS-891: Field Practicum 2

    A supervised, directed ministry experience for students in their specific area of interest and skill. This includes practical and ongoing training in the local church, mission field, or school, working in the areas of counseling, teaching, church leadership, and evangelism. This course is taken during the final year (generally final semester) of studies.

  • RS-892: Thesis Project

    After the successful completion of RS-890, Thesis Proposal, the candidate completes the thesis under the guidance and supervision of the thesis advisor. If the thesis is not completed by the end of the semester, students will be required to enroll continuously. Students have up to three years to complete the thesis from the time of their first enrollment in this course.

  • OT-513: Old Testament History (M4)

    A study of the Old Testament history (Genesis through Esther) with an emphasis on the setting, genre, structure, key dates and persons, biblical theology, and key events of these books. Special attention will be given to the nature and development of the covenants, the development of the monarchy, and the rise and fall of Israel and Judah.

  • OT-773: Elementary Hebrew 2

    A continuation of study of the basic principles of biblical Hebrew followed by an introduction to Hebrew syntax, textual criticism and the basic tools and methods of lexical analysis.

  • MS-854: Pastoral Ministries (M3)

    A practical study of key areas of pastoral ministry designed to equip pastors to administer effectively the day-to-day tasks of a typical church ministry.

  • RS-503: Research Methods, Writing and Technology (M3)

    A course designed to introduce the student to the skills necessary to produce graduate level research papers and projects. This includes the proper formatting of papers (Turabian), source documentation, and thesis formation. How to read effectively for comprehension and how to express oneself properly is explored. Methods for using technology to discover information appropriate to graduate work through the use of electronic databases, internet resources, library collections, and information literacy are addressed.

  • RS-503: Research Methods, Writing and Technology (M4)

  • NT-513: Gospels (M3)

    A survey and exposition of the Gospels, with an emphasis on the biblical theology of these books, their genre, and their application.

  • NT-774: Elementary Greek 2 / BI-422: Elementary Greek 2

    A continuation of study of the basic principles of New Testament Greek for students who have not had Greek or who would benefit from a review of the elements of the language.
