TH-565: Prolegomena, Bibliology and Theology Proper (M2)
An in-depth study of Prolegomena, Bibliology - doctrines of revelation, inspiration, inerrancy, illumination, and theological hermeneutics will be conducted. The study of Theology Proper - the existence and attributes of the one God, the Triune Godhead, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in Scripture and in Christian history, and the ramifications of Trinitarian belief today will be addressed in detail.

TH-560: Hermeneutics / TH-310: Principles of Biblical Interpretation (Beaumont Cohort M1)
A directed study on the principles of the literal-grammatical-historical (L-G-H) system of biblical interpretation, with guided practice in using those principles in interpreting representative passages. This course is required before enrollment in any Systematic Theology (TH-) and Bible Exposition (BI-) courses.

The course is designed to guide students with research methodology appropriate to writing a dissertation within the PhD program. The instruction includes standards, elements and style of quality research paper from topic selection to completion of the final draft.

MS-872: Children's Ministry in the Local Church / MS-412: Introduction to Children’s Ministry
MS-412: In this course, students will discover their personal leadership style, learn the fundamentals of chil-dren’s ministry leadership, and develop administrative and organizational skills. It will be a practical study of the key areas of Christian Education ministry, designed to equip children’s pastors to admin-ister effectively the day-to-day tasks of a typical children’s ministry. MS-872: The purpose of this course is to further prepare students biblically, theologically, and professionally to work with children in churches and parachurch organizations. Students will discover their personal leadership style, learn the fundamentals of children’s ministry leadership, and develop administrative and organizational skills. It will be a practical study of key areas of Christian Education ministry, de-signed to equip Children’s Pastors to administer effectively the day-to-day tasks of a typical children’s ministry.

RS-503: Research Methods, Writing & Tech. (M2)
A course designed to introduce the student to the skills necessary to produce graduate level research papers and projects. This includes the proper formatting of papers (Turabian), source documentation, and thesis formation. How to read effectively for comprehension and how to express oneself properly is explored. Methods for using technology to discover information appropriate to graduate work through the use of electronic databases, internet resources, library collections, and information literacy are addressed. Students will be introduced to the Zoom video conferencing system used at Grace for all its courses

TH-563 S: La Base de la Teología de la Gracia Gratuita (M1)
Este curso examina las doctrinas principales de la Teología de la Gracia Gratuita en comparación con las teologías católica, ortodoxa, calvinista y arminiana. El énfasis estará en las opiniones divergentes de doctrinas como la justificación, la fe, la antropología y la hamartiología. Además, se examinarán las opiniones divergentes sobre la soberanía y la providencia de Dios, la predestinación y el libre albedrío en relación con la elección divina, la seguridad eterna y la seguridad de la salvación. Este curso también evaluará las doctrinas adicionales de la extensión de la propiciación de Cristo, el proceso de santificación, y los galardones de los creyentes obedientes (“recompensas”) y el castigo/disciplina de los cristianos. La síntesis de la teología histórica y bíblica se enfatizará en la formación de una teología sistemática coherente.
